You've hit the mother load of TK resources. Make sure to find your local garrison and make friends. Just be careful, it's addicting.

Most impressive...

We're going to need more sunblock...

Greetings and welcome to FISD!

I believe ATA had helmet kits on hand (at least as of a couple weeks ago). Full armor was still a waiting list, but at least you could get the bucket quickly.
Good luck with the build and welcome to FISD!

Nice work! I've got to look this episode up.

Greetings and welcome. I passed through Vancouver on a Whistler trip a couple years back. Beautiful country up there.
We're here to help!

I have my 2nd due in May, a boy! It's my little way of (geek) nesting.
Exactly!

I might be crazy but it seems like there's a common bond of people getting into it as relatively new parents. People with toddlers or right above. Maybe it's just a way we're all connecting with our childhoods again. I imagine most every kid that sees Star Wars wants to dress up in armor, but only as an adult do most of us have the means to make it happen for real.
I have my first baby due next month and jumped in on the first TK build mid pregnancy. I'd say it was a nice way to take my mind off things and geek out.
Much respect for all TK veterans on here!

Welcome Bill!
There's more TK info here than you can throw a smoke bomb at. Definitely the place to research and network. Good luck on your build!

Sweet! Thank you.

Welcome Sam!

I would find CO Scott Allen on SCG and message him directly. I saw the general post so hopefully he gets that in time.
Good luck!

Welcome to the fold! Blaster builds seem to be a great go to while waiting for armor. Let us know how we can help.

Snazzy! Nice work.

1. Get my FX TK to EIB (pretty much done)...
2. Get my incoming AP TK to Centurion.
3. Get on a local Fire Team.
4. Continue to make people smile and laugh on future troops!

There's another one missing his TD when they board the Falcon. He turns to go "lend a hand" and you can see clearly.
I haven't had the pleasure of falling on mine yet, but then again I'm still pretty new around here.

Hasbro was my first build (I still have). The resin kits should be cheap and are great to help tweak out a Hasbro. Plus if you're waiting on armor they're a nice side project. Just be careful! Kids appear to not want to give back a blaster that lights up and makes noises (as opposed to a dead hyperfirm or prop build)...
-
I have both a hyperfirm E-11 and DLT-19 (not cheap) and recommend for low weight and durable builds for trooping. Unfortunately I believe Lewis's DLT mold is done... I've yet to find a cheap DLT unless it was parts needing assembly or some sort of favor!
-
Ha! Love the baby dewback pic!
-
(pushes nerd glasses up)
"Welllllll clearly the DLT-19 is too tall for the trooper and the ab plate should never rise above and over the chest plate and I doubt those shoes will...."
OK I'll stop. Happy Holidays everyone!

Welcome trooper! All the best on your TK build!

This is one of the more impressive blaster builds I've ever seen.
