I second what gmrhodes13 says. Research and research. Find something that suits your size. Different makers suit different body types.

I'm 5'8" 72kg and I have AP (Authentic Props) armour. Getting it to fit right is best done while making it and trying it on and adjusting as required. We are all more than willing to help with either information or hands on.

Don't be afraid to ask even the most silly questions. Mistake in armour making can be costly.

It also stems from the fact that FISD Expert Infantry and Centurion awards are independent from 501st, so we can put whatever we like as requirements. But we try to co-ordinate them with 501st level 2 and 3 requirements.

 

I'm slightly confused as to whether there is a L2 and L3 for FISD...and a separate L2 and L3 for 501st Legion?

Where do you go for the 501st legion  L2 and L3?

I'm still in the process of sanding off mold lines and filling in air bubbles. Taking a long time cause I'm a perfectionist. I hate it cause I'm never happy with my work.

I've just got one of these to build. The bolt thread and nut that is cast on the stock end of the barrel do you cut that off or drill a hole in the mating part on the stock for it?

I got no instructions with it so I'm a newb. I've only built one E-11 doopy doo. Thats my total experience.
