UKwraths lists over on etsy, is local, however the shop front is presently on hiatus.
TRamp lists on FB, is also local.
Background on both found here with a search, interested to see what you finding discover & which option you finally go with, good luck.

Hope its cool to add my recent research? after chopping up lots of leather trying different patterns to match what we can see in the promo pics.
Here's a comparison of the size to the Standard E-11. I speculated they used a similar footprint for the holster?
side profile
side profile
I believe Glen is on the money regarding the cut out being a functional addition, in order to get the right sided weapon out of the left sided holster makes life way easier.
I've tried it next to the hard armour parts (not pictured) and the measurements stack up.....for me anyway

Nice consolidation of much history here, many thanks Glen.
I would figure the E-11 had to be mounted on the left due to the magazine! maybe the SR-14 was then also mounted on the left to create a uniform look for the big screen? No magazine issues there but now a left sided holster for a blaster that could actually sit on the right.
I'd love to see a side profile of the Promo Trooper, to me It looks like purpose made item and not a usual holster "flipped" for stitching! these are not dyed through leathers and considering access to the blaster, looking at the pic, the SR14 is sitting kind of high to warrant a cut out? or is it just me, I can be wrong, I often am.

I suspect your auto focus is (focused on your table cloth)? and not the shiny TK kit

Here's the link to the crate with pics and some vids showing the neopixel animations, the display animation, and the decompression effect when opening.
Many thanks for the added link,
looks good, those lights are great especially the cylon light & love the sound effect's, both fun and very cool, Maybe try a thin wash on the case and see what you think, It could add a little to the fresh out of the academy look and if you didn't like it just wash it off again?

My Trooper Armor Crate
I'm looking for opinions on applying weathering like these on this thread or leaving it clean. I'm undecided.

Could you share a pic of your crate? its got me very curios to see your great looking build & the link is only for ppl beyond the authorized TK member wall

What type of paint did you use for the dark washes ? and what color for dirt around wheels? where did you get the wheel covers?
Thanks
Distortions masks do a nice rub out wash tutorial on you tube using FW inks, diluted with iso over a PAX paint base. depending on skill level, it looks like something that can be adapted to suit?
Their wash mix colours are mentioned.

Yeah , sorry...my wife was at work so I have to take the pictures myself :-D.
Do you have a countdown timer on the camera? I had to do that in the past, on occasion.
Every post is looking like more steps closer

Wow I missed this gem of a thread, Excellent bump.
That's creative ingenuity along with some beautiful weathering on those cases

quite liberal, i mean …. it’s easy to get a sporting gun license. Just this. For the rest is not easy ….. but at the custom if they see a metal reassembled gun … mmmh don’t know what can happen
Some countries can be draconian especially after the VSC bill in the UK, however in my experience with enough cash to push in the right direction and customs forms filled, their OK?, even AU were willing entry of such things for me & those guys don't even like letting oranges get through airport security.
To further add to Mathias good idea, if you or a friend are associated to the theatre or similar?, then that can be applied "for prop use".

There are less than 3499 MR E-11 blasters. I used to have a loose one, which went to a friend, and also one that was in pieces, which I sold as parts many years ago on this very forum.
So we can confirm three down already only a few more and their prices go up, I see ppl asking £3500 & £2500over on the bay now.
I'd love to see and read more on the others you have, esp the MCG, maybe you have an older thread you can point me too, or a new one

Very valid consideration Mathias and on point, I did wonder if Sithping had provided the answer Luca was looking for?, in his excellent and reply.
I can also confirm that there are only 3499 of the MR in circulation! so that may have already increased their value?
Good luck in whatever direction you decide to go with Luca.

Looking to take an old set of armor and making it ugly. Any good videos of someone working on this project? I saw a few on you tube but do not know if those are good to use.
thanks
For Death trooper, undoubtedly the same look your going for, I'd search for both Gary J Tunnicliffe and Howard Berger tutorials, their are often considered masters of this style/effect in the movie SFX world.
Copic inks too?
Nice bike

Hello! its my first time here…
hope is the right spot to talk about …
Sorry if not!
I was wondering if master replicas e11 blaster does it worth the money. I surfed the net searching for something to buy but most of the time, even if e11 is 100% correct and well made is created with metal and resin parts. Or aluminium parts. The master replica one misses counter and cylinders but its 100% steel ( apart from t tracks ) and they can be added by ourself aniway. It seems is the only one 100% steel parts …. cant find anything better ( apart from very rare real sterling modified and still 100% complete)
Thankyou!
In my humble opinion "No" mr are not worth the financial outlay required.
After the disappointment of receiving mine, I used it as paperweight at first, then modded it with a couple of bright lights.
IMHO There are heaps of better blasters out there that are value for money and worth searching for. that or a Deac sterling, those are not that rare.

Many thanks for the extra Pictures Glen, Now it just looks like enthusiastic over trimming, which add's up considering its ESB.
& nice down time shot of the TK resting I recall another old BW photo where the garter top belt and straps were in frame?
@sly11
Many thanks for the EFX catsuit n' seal Pic Andrew, Also my apologies, I see you previously dated the suit pic in the black backdrop to 2013, I wonder if the soft parts will be in the Auction too?

Here is an image of the very set of armour now up for auction. this is a photo from circa 2013, and is the same kit that Gino from EFX had the opportunity to take a full set of internal molds from.
The story goes that the collector actually also had the original undersuit and neck seal, of which were also replicated down to the fabric patterns.
If you are lucky enough to attend a SW Celebration, you may actually meet Gino who has had his full cast set from this armour on display.
The armour has definitely yellowed considerably when compared to this photo below.
Nice pic many thanks for sharing it.
Quick Q: Were any pics ever shared of the OT soft parts? under suit, etc!
I wondered if it could it be the lighting / camera used?, also adding a little "washed out" look in the pic above? that R-side shoulder bell and chest armour in close up look a little (two toned), or maybe a date of that pic? else just massive acceleration of the dreaded yellowing?

Amazing what comes up at auction from time to time.
Here's a ANH/ESB Stunt helmet up for grabs
And from Christies 2003 (reference starwars.com)
Is it me? the camera angle or other? I've not noticed the big kink in the left eye before, (left=right hand side of the image) Maybe I don't look at enough ESB lids lol

Nice share Justin,
super interesting after all these years more OT kit popping up, its like waiting for a bus in the UK.
-
Have you considered painting the inside black?
Just another option, all the lids I've ever owned just had the star leaf foam & a balaclava.

Hi David,
Just wondered if these cuts were for added mobility? one of makers kit I had never needed any cuts and walking was fine, another makers kit however I had to sand it down a little at a time between testing, till it became comfortable, luckily not deep & still above the Line recommended expertly by Mario.
Good luck with your mods

Cool Judge kit, is that a NODEN?
Always Hoped they make a follow up film, 2000ad its virtually an untapped well.
Back OT, Nice MQ kit too

So what's on the surface here is just the tip of a very large TK resource iceberg! yikes it must be colossal by now, again Kudos to all the Technical folks who keep this monster going.
I also throw in the search terms:
Whitearmor
FISD
& or the topic & original posters name if I remember it, that sometime yields results too.
