welcome Greg. The Tusken is a great costume and a lot with which to troop; however, few costumes are as iconic as the TK

You're sure about that?
Everybody's different of course, but I can build a TK in a few days. My astromech has been in production for months.
-
After building an R2, a TK build will be pure joy and easy as pie.

Everyone I've seen use this combo has had to splice wiring. It will take some patience and experimentation to get it right.

Welcome to FISD! One can make almost any kit look great if you do your homework. There are a lot of great armor makers out there. TM is widely acknowledged as one of the absolute best, but there are other options to be sure. RT Mod is great for larger troopers, but at that size you can still make any kit work. If you haven't done so yet, check out this link: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/

Thanks for posting the officer photo. That shows the color nicely.

welcome. I agree mostly with Kyle.

Have you guys seen this Marco TK?
It's kind of cool from a historical standpoint. Any thoughts on this one? I'm not looking to buy it, but I thought it was an interesting find nevertheless.

1/ Glue chicago screw halves inside the helmet next to the visor opening (make a small notch, place a half of the chicago screw inside and then fasten it with JB weld or a similar stuff),
2/ Make matching hole in the visor (of course you need the visor to overlap a little the inside of the helmet),
3/ Secure it in place with the other half of the chicago screw.
Works also with normal screws and nuts too.
great idea.

More great photos. Do you also happen to have a better shot of that officer?

Amazing job. Welcome to the club!

Welcome Jay.

Welcome Brian. Your patience and research will pay off. Don't be afraid to ask questions either.

I always like seeing those. Thanks for sharing.

I wonder how hard it would be for for someone with a vac-table to make these using an existing faceplate. Might be a cool option for armor makers to offer.

that's awesome.

welcome! Were I there, I would certainly go for either RS or TM.
