Awesome Dan! I am still waiting on approval or not. It's been about 2 weeks. I know they're backed up a bit, but, hopefully I will hear something soon.
Looking forward to reading your build thread and keeping up! Have fun! I did!

I used the military style as posted in the 2nd post for my death trooper.
Works great!

Clamps and a set of these magnets and you're set:
I showed these magnets to my fellow Star Garrison members and they said they were the strongest magnets they have ever seen. They cannot be pulled apart. You have to slide them sideways to separate them. They helped me build both my AM clean TK kit and my Death Trooper Franken-Kit (FX, AP, ATA, etc).

Willrow Hood is Rebel Legion, and in was fun to see the Willrow Hood flash mob at C6 running around.......
That's awesome! Would have died laughing at that!

Should have gotten married next year. Could have had the time off to join the lot of ya!

Those are some huge gaps between the ears and the helmet. You could park your bike in that!

Final photos - well, almost final... Need to shorten shoulder straps a little bit and add more bandages to lower part of thighs...

Happy Anniversary flexible hand guards!

Exit wound glued inside forearm. Added a bit of weathering, even though it's still clamped and glue needs to be left to cure overnight. Pops out nicely from the rip.

Death Trooper Build Day = Last Day + 1

Closed backs with inner boxes. Strap riveted to inner box and inside of belt:
Drop box 1:
Drop Box 2:
Forearm with nice rip. Exit wound glued to for sale sign. Just before being glued inside with E6000. Cover strips have been added to both forearms. Will finish weathering tomorrow night.

Everyone is a little concerned with making their first cut Erik. I think a lot, if not most, of us went into it a bit like you're describing. If you really take your time and research each part, you will do fine.
When I built my kit, I studied this forum. Searched for one bit at a time (biceps, then forearms, then shins, etc). Opened 10 or more windows from my search to see how others had put that same armor together. It will be time consuming, but it's fun and the pay off is awesome when you get approved.

On my EIB TK kit, which is AM, I only used E6000 to attach the sniper plate. No problems. No bits falling off. Not on the kit, anyway...

Haha thanks!

Great job Manuel!

Death Trooper Build Day ** - **)
Trimmed and assembled shins and forearms. Just waiting on extra abs strips in the mail to complete cover strips on forearms.
Legs almost complete. Weathering done on shins and boots. Added bandages.
Wasn't satisfied. Added huge zombie bite prosthetic. Nice bite out of right calf.
Doing the same to forearm. Cut hole. Glued prosthetic bite to fore sale sign bits. Glued and clamped and after last cover strip is added, I will complete weathering.
Some of the excess blood will wipe off with weathering to reveal bite a little better.

There's a pizza... There's a pizza coming...
I know I know...
Freeze up always sounded like pizza to me...
This coming from a metal guy whose friends were all punk! Sooo, I got to see all of the greatness like Suicidal Tendencies and GBH, , Social D, Slayer, Metallica, Exploited and even GG Allin... God help me! What a mix, but that last one scarred my memories for a lifetime!

Bought a 2nd set yesterday after reading this. I bought a set back in November or December for the same price. Can't beat it! The price rocks and the sizing, durability and comfort are top notch!

The gray military grade ones are the same I've added to my TK and WIP Death Trooper buckets.

The only thing that catches my eyes is the buttons need to be painted. Otherwise, it looks clean man!
Greetings from a Fangirl ready to do some armor!

Welcome! While you are waiting on your kit to arrive, please practice your blaster shooting skills. We need someone in our ranks that is able to hit a target.
Those movies have made us look terrible!
