Sorry to hear you had to wait, but glad its all coming together for you. Im no expert on F-11 blasters but there might be some 3D printed ones out there.

Buckets off.
I found him great to deal with in sourcing armour. A great loss to our community.

I kinda like the idea they borrowed from different sources to make up a remnant army.
I think the original idea for Rogue One was to clean up design of TK suits since they didnt have any original ones on hand. However this meant they now had an inventory of suits to reuse for future projects. To the average viewer this doesnt seem out of place.
Not to mention the suits used in the old deathstar in Rise of Skywalker were ROTKs as well, so its a bit over the place, but thats what makes this hobby fun and allows us to choose different types of armour.
All part of the fun I suppose.

Thanks Team. I plan on building the armor as ROTK first then transforming into a remnant tk,

Hello troopers,
Last year I bought a set of 850 ROTK armour from a fellow member with the hope of turning it into a ROTK, However converting my BS TK helmet proved to be a bit of a challenge so I have decided to go the Mando route instead. I kinda like the griminess of the troopers seen in the series.
I was lucky enough to score an Anovos OT helmet off ebay in the weekend. The bidding was a bit fierce but I wanted it so bad. I wanted to get the exact make of helmet used in the season 1 'Client's' troopers in order to make my Remnant TK. These were Anovos helmets I believe.
I will be scanning through the reference photos the first season Mandalorian throughout my build.
Helmet - Anovos Original Trilogy
Armour - 850 Props
Gloves - ROTK (Endor Finders)
Undershirt - Imperial Boots
Boots ?

Cheers I hope so too. I have place a bid on it just over 100, plus with rate of exchange and shipping could be expensive.

Hi guys, theres an Anovos TK helmet on ebay which I am interested in. Currently bidding is at 61 dollars is this a good option. It looks like its legit. I want one for my collection but now hard to find.
Cheers

That was excellent. Great job.

Looking forward to see this one in action.

Thanks for the heads up I will check out the options.

Thanks. I have since found out that the undershirt is the wrong style for ROTK as well. The top part has vertical lines but or ROTK should be horizontal. I might have to invest in a new shirt which is more accurate.
-
Thanks. Ill have a go dying it and see what happens.

I was lucky enough to socre a RO trooper undershirt from a friend of mine, I am pretty sure its Imperial Boots but not sure. My question is the colour any good? Its not black as for the ROTKs but a dark grey. I am thinking this is more for a shore trooper but supposedly it can be dyed black. It fits really well and I wasnt going to pass up this gift.
Cheers

Hi there,
Thanks for the replies.
Here's the handplates.
The cod and butt snaps are an easy fix, I will just need to remove the paint.
The blaster was modded to the specs of the CRL.
This was an older ANH kit that I got from a fellow member which I converted to ESB. I was certain that the decals for the helmet were the correct ones. However it does seem like a lot of work to get it up to standard.
Cheers

Thanks. Depending on how my BS helmet conversion goes or I might have to source an new lid from elsewhere.

Helmet BS (to be modded)
Armour 850 Props
Undersuit/Shirt TBA
Boots TBA
Gloves TBA
Hi there,
I recently purchased a set of 850 Props ROTK armour from a fellow FISD member in OZ and yesterday the BBB arrived at my doorstep. So far I am pretty pleased with the sculpt on this kit. I have had a 850 Tanker armour previously and it wasnt as sharp as this is.
I have a BS helmet which I plan on modding to be more accurate. Not sure at this stage where I want to go with this. I have always like the RO TK's since they came out and they have since appeared in Solo and The Mandalorian.
I am keen on the Mimban Trooper from Solo as I a really dig that blast shield on the helmet. I realise that it is covered by the MPED CRL, but as I will be starting out building as RO TK I thought I would post here first.
Cheers
Scott

Love the sound of clanking armour, however means you cant be stealthy.

One of the reasons I chose ESB was it was unique. So many of my garrison brothers and sisters are ANH so wanted to be different. Most of the general public dont know the subtle differences as you are just a stormtrooper to them. I did a VIP event late last year and all they wanted was stormtroopers, it didnt matter what type you were. I think in total there is about 4 ESB variants in NZ.
We now have an ESB Vader in our garrison so its extra cool when I troop along side him as the only ESB in my region.
Good luck with your build

Thank you for letting me know, I’ll be sending a PM.
Yea I thought about whether that will be an issue. I’ll just have to wait and see once I begin the conversion. I think i also may have retained some fabric from my belt I had cut off.
I also have a question regarding removing paint from my helmet if you guys can help me out. Do you guys know any alternatives to the testors enamel thinner to remove paint from helmet? I’ve heard that mineral spirits seem to work too although I’m not sure? Would it be the type you could probably get at Home Depot?
I used isopropal alcohol and rubbed gently. Some parts is scraped with a blade to get rid of stubborn paint.

Thank you guys so much for the help and the hand guard diagram as well! Great to know that I don't have to do many alterations to my kit. I'll definitely look into trooperbay's decals and most likely post a WTB ad for the hand guards. As for the gloves, I'll try to find some kind of cloth glove. Doing a quick search shows that perhaps silk gloves aren't to good as they seem to get caught in velcro and I fear they would get caught in the belt.
For the belt I'm thinking of using my current ANH style belt and flipping everything, getting a new holster with loops, and adding some velcro to the back of the belt and the inner back of the loops so it doesn't move around and expose the rivet holes. It seems the holster sits in the same place as it would on the ANH belt just opposite.
I converted a RS Props ANH to ESB and ended up just covering the rivet holes with cloth patches that matched the belt fabric. Mine was to difficult to switch around due to the snap domes on the belt and armour.
