  1. Thanks for the tip on where to start. For the hands I used some armature wire I had laying around but coat hanger wire would probably work just as well if not better seeing it would be a little stiffer.
  2. Well I got my ATA armor today. It's my belated fathers day present. My wife rocks. I'm sure I'll have tons of questions as I get started. The brown Box It's contents My foam filled duct tape dummy The positionable hands I built for it I guess my first question is where to start? As tempted as I am to start on the lid I think I should probably wait until I'm more comfortable working with the material seeing that's the main focus of the suit. So should I start at the bottom and work my way up?
  3. I noticed the missing T-tracks too lol. Could you imagine carrying something filled with concrete around all day? My mostly metal one is heavy enough
  4. Benji that's exactly what I was looking for thank you so much. And Eric thanks for the offer I'll keep it in mind if I need something in wood
  5. I'm looking for more of the metal little plaque like this one but not nearly this size more like 2"x6" -----------
  6. Thanks I'll look into it. I'll try to put together a pick of what I want so I can show people to see if they're able to do it
  7. Hey Everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew where to get display plaques something like the ones shown in ---------- I've used the search feature but everything I found seems to be pretty old. I'm working on my first blaster right now and I'm on the waiting list for my armor and I'd love to have some nice plaques to add to the displays. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  8. I have to agree, That Chewie hug photo is amazing. I could really see that as a poster someplace
  9. can't wait for my armor to be done and shipped

  10. I hate waiting for glue to dry.. I just want to finish my blaster already lol

  11. I know you posted this a long time ago but I was wondering if you ever found any templates? I'm thinking about making my own also but not sure of the size of some of the pieces
  12. I just ordered their 20 PIECE STORMTROOPER PVC STERLING BASE KIT yesterday. I was looking at the full kit but I like making things myself and seeing the weather's finally nice enough to tinker out in the garage again here in MN I thought I'd give it a go. I mainly got it for those hard to make parts like the handle and a couple of other pieces. I want to make mine as screen accurate as I can but can't really afford a sterling right now. I can't believe even for the broken up parts how much it costs.
