Thanks guys
I know there are a few other norwegians basically ready for Centurion too, they just have to send in their applications.
With Mathias being the first approved Centurion, he really is a good example and a good help for others building TKs within the Nordic Garrison, and FISD has been an enormous well of information and insipration, and you guys made it easy building a TK suit to Centurion specifications.
And last but not least I have to give a big shoutout to Troopermaster for being a superb guy to deal with, and always willing to help me out making this suit the best it can be. He is an awesome asset to this community.

Happy festivus!

Very interesting!

Looks great! Been thinking about doing this myself. Any chance you would like to share the templates/measurements?
-
Thanks Daniel! Nice to be amongst the elite ;D
-
Looks nice! Great paintjob and weathering.

Thanks a lot!
Bought the bronze resin M19 scope from Tk-4702, had it drilled out and got a lens from TK-8505 that I'll fit. Gonna make it look as real as I can, and post pics when I'm done. Basically all it needs is a paintjob.

Looks real beautiful. can't wait to see the build progress.

Looking real good

Pure awesome sexiness!

Yes! Looks great!
And I dig that you also got the TD sniper knee plate, just so you have the option if you want to.
-
Congratulations!
I guess the initial anxiousness will become a distant memory once you start assembling that beautiful piece of armor. And I can't imagine you'd want to upgrade or sell it either. You've reached max level with an RS suit, hehe.
-
I suppose so!
Used them myself on the thighs, haven't had any issues yet, but I haven't trooped in the suit either.

I'll do it for him

When I first started out looking for types of armor to buy, AP was a top contender for me, but a lot has happened in that short amount of time (under a year), so if I were coming into this hobby now with a budget I'd definitely go for ATA.

The tubestripes should be about 1cm away from the ridge.
I did an hilariously bad photoshop to show what I mean:

Yes, Andy they are.
And Stephen, I can't wait to see the progress on this. It looks amazing!

Here's what I did for my Doopydoo's build, and it sits secure as hell:-----------------

My first thought would be to check out MTK helmet kits in the for sale/ongoing orders forums.
Accurate and fairly reasonably priced kits.

Congrats Eric! Great to see you approved, and the RT-MOD looks great on you :-D
Work it, brother!

Haha, thanks Daniel, looks like you've picked up a little norwegian yourself
I'm 6.0ft 183cm, Jason. And thanks for the compliment

Thanks!
I hope you can understand at least something
Funny how swedes tend to have a hard time understanding Norwegian, but norwegians seem to understand swedish quite allright.
My in-laws and girlfriend are from northern sweden and moved to Norway 12 years ago, they still speak swedish amongst themselves, but my girlfriend speaks norwegian normally. I try to learn swedish and speak "svorsk" a bit when I am with them.

Here is a segment from local Student TV considreing unusal hobbies, where they interviewed me about 501st and having a stormtrooper costume: http://www.stv.no/co...t/webitem/1720/
@ 19:18, it's all in Norwegian though, but it turned out pretty decent I think.
And my buddy sent me a few pictures from a session in the studio.
