I used the plastic tabs first but then changed them all out for webbing tabs which hold much better for me.

Been away from it for a while, getting back onto it now whilst on my holidays....

I have a similar problem with my Shoulder Bells....if i put them into what i consider a comfortable position they are actually under my bridges. Been looking for a solution to it myself.

I need to get the shoulder bells to sit right and stop rotating back....still not managed to solve it. Got the butt cut though so gonna make up some snaps to re attach it and that will be another job done.

The clips from Jesse are awesome, well worth it mate I'm gonna have another stab at the shoulders tonight....

Mine was assembled with a big grey block of wood screwed into it with velcro on the back to attach to the plastic belt that came with it. I pulled it all apart and riveted Jesse's (kick-an impolite person) clips to it. Still needs a little paint where i took off the block of wood so need to find the correct paint.

I hear ya man, not enough hours in the day to get this finished on time at the moment. Should have the entire top section finished tonight then I am going to attach some elastic and velcro to a back support belt to hold up the thighs. Got a TM helmet kit on order from Paul too....

Believe it or not, the next step was one of the ones i was dreading the most. Due to the contour of the chest piece i really wasn't sure about the gluing of the bridge pieces but i think it has turned out quite nicely.... The front: And now the back, held down with white elastic Finally....a well earned rest and a brew

Next step was to apply the rivets to the left hand side, again following advice (TrooperVenger) and various guides on here i went with the snap/rivet combo. I could only get normal rivets, so may fill and paint them at a later date if needed for EIB Outside view: Inside view:

Right whilst i try and solve the shoulder problem, on with the rest of the build.... Snaps put into butt plate Split Pin or "brad" place in cod piece section The two joined together via black elastic Things seem to be coming along nicely, next for the abdomen and back....

Yeah I tried that at first but still got the twisting, might try using webbing instead and making it a really small gap between bridge and bell.

I now have hit a small snag....my bells are connected together via a long piece of black elastic and snaps. The strap goes around the back of my neck which seems to work quite well, however I notice they rotate backwards quite easily.... Any ideas/tips folks?

On the outside edges I had squares already but no circle so I drilled the hole wider and put a 15 mm female snap there, then painted it white with acrylic enamel. If you have already riveted underneath then make a square and circle out of leftover plastic and just glue over the rivets.

It only had the centre one, the other two on the outside edges are two snaps cunningly disguised as them. Shhhh....don't tell anyone, I think i got away with it
