Also looking into ways to stop the kneeplate from getting under my thigh...
Just put a strip of thin foam on the back of the thighs. it keeps the front close to your leg and reduces the problem.
Oh and I'm not going to add any mesh behind the teeth - I rather stay accurateWay to go! I have no mesh too Just use a balaclava to cover the face inside the helmet (and which can also help in taming your heavy-metal hair!!! )

AWESOME!!!

I have a photo request
Can you please take some front and side pictures of both helmets, but from really far, all zoomed in?
Thank you

Oh. My. God.
The two or three things that bugged me about old TM's faceplate are definitely gone.
Better eyes, better teeth, better profile, better ears, better proportions.
Damn you Paul!
AWESOME.

Auguri Philo
Happy new year to everyone, best of luck to you all, and let's hope it's better than 2009!!!

This suit looks pretty good and inexpensive relative to others. Any experience in extreme heat? It says it works in both hot and cold- that is my only doubt, best of both worlds?
I trooped in the hottest summer's sunday at 1pm directly under the sun (ugh), works very well with perspiration.
Trooped also in a cold autumn day with only a thermal longsleeve under it, worked well.
I only added thumbs and feet stirrups.

I use this: http://www.extremeracing.co.uk/stormtroope...er/prod_10.html
One piece, two way zip, thermal fabric, very very comfortable, no logos, cheap.
Highly suggested!!!

I wear glasses under my TM helmet all the time, and I have a L melon.
Left lens is a bit scratched, but it's a good fit and doesn't give me any problem at all.

Merry Christmas to you all and to the people you love!!!

Merry Christmas Mike!!!
PM on the way
thanks! ciao

As an ANH Stunt Stormtrooper, I hold it almost always with the left hand.
-
Definitely NOT.
A BIG not.
Inaccurate and incredibly pricy.
Stay away.

There's already a topic about this: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=9134
Double fun!

I think that the Voice Core is the finest trooper amp out there.
If I hadn't already bought the ROM/FX I would have gone fore that.
It's totally customizable. You can upload your sounds, tweak every parameter, you have both line out and amp out, you have lots of features.

Pure genius!!!

...you still seem very confused by the variations in the movie armour.
Ditto.
If you want the best reference for a nice AP assembly look at Stukatrooper and Pandatrooper builds,
they both did an incredible job, especially with the thighs. Thanks to the heatgun and modeling iron.
-
The thighs "pinch" is the same issue that bothered me when trying to decide between AP and TM.

I think it's there on the originals, but not so evident. Infact I modified mine a bit with a heatgun.
I agree that on the TM some curves are stronger, but it still gives the ANH feel more than every other kit.
-
If you buy protected ones they are slightly longer, but they fit standard holders no problem
The diameter is the same as regular AA.

Those are not the dangerous LiPo, they are LiIon, the same lithium type batteries used in cell phones.
You have it in your pocket all the time.
-
Dump the 1.2v rechargeables and switch to lithium 3.7v batteries. Much lighter, super long lasting.
I run my ROM/FX with three of them for over two days of trooping, almost full volume, only 900 mAh.
I use these, but there are also higher mAh.
Three of them also for fans, you get 12v at full charge.

From bad experiences of my garrison mates I suggest staying away from MovieFX: very bad dealing, long waits, incomplete deliveries, bad communication.
Stick to the known and good producers: TE2, AP, TM.
-
Definitely a fanmade sculpt and a first-timer, no piece derived from usual suspects.
-
From thepartsofstarwars:
"On the rear of the gun 3 small, circular, detail pieces were added to the right side. On the left were added two detail pieces possibly rifle hammers. We are still researching these pieces..."
So basically it's the plain Sterling Arms L2A3 submachine guns with T-tracks, short magazine, M-19 scope and the detail pieces.
Riveting the helmet with 2 rivets

No, she meant rivets:
----------
I used just one on each side, but I'm sure the second really helps in keeping the faceplate firm when you're drilling holes for the ears assembly!
That also can reduce the gap over the tube that can lead to a bad assembly.
You can also see the second rivet in this picture, on the first helmet on the bottom, which is the only one without ears yet:
