EYE POPING TM, freaking beautiful .

When many of us join 501st about 10 years ago, we did not have much to choose from: armors, sites, forums etc.

Every thing have gone better and better year after year, and today we need real top class stuff to blow us off.

But as have all have all ready said, you have done it again my friend.

Not only the most screen accurate ANH body armor out there, but also now in the best plastic too.

This is a piece of art, a A+ suit, from a A+ man.

does it come with stormtrooper decals? Without the stripes on the trapezoids, its a sandtrooper.

How come you are selling this?

I need the cash to buy some armor.

I sold my suits, when I payed for my 4 DL suits (2 TK/2 TD).

But I only got some helmet kits, I have no updates of the suits.

So I will sell this helmet, to buy some armor, TM or TE2.

I will get new helmets to my DL suits, in the future when they come.

Mine was to episode 1, in 1999.

I saw a poster, where it says:

Meet Darth Vader, and he´s stormtroopers.

It was i a down town, DVD store.

I went there, and talk whit them.

I join 501st short after, whit my first suit.

And been a member, ever since.

I have have been a fan, since 1980.

Where my dad, took me in to see ESB.

Once a fan, all ways a fan.

Freaking cool armor :huh: .

The Tm armor, are among the best out there.

I have the hips version back then, i might need the ABS one, after i have seen your shots here.

I believe I'm #8 on the list for a full suit. Where that puts me in the helmet queue, I'm not sure. But I was expecting to get the helmet this month.

DL told me, when i payed him for 4 full suits in december 08 ( 2 TK´s, 2 TD´s).

That my 4 suits, will be the first 4 ever made...

What's the thickness of the ABS on these? Is it 0.060 as I recall from an earlier thread when Dan unveiled it, and will the armor be of the same material & thickness? Also, does Dan have any idea when he'll have the full armor kit available? Bottom line, are these troopable kits or display-only?

OMG! That desktop 3D scanner in the video is amazing! That machine that actually created the plastic parts is freakin' mind-blowing, and it uses ABS!!! My dream of having a screen-accurate TK kit that's been scaled up to fit the big guys just got a lot closer. Tony/TE2, please watch this!

Yes helmet is 60 gauge/1,5 mm glossy abs.

Body armor should be 90 gauge/2 mm thick abs.

So the suit should be very strong for trooping.

The plan was to have the suit ready for late 08, then the start of 09.

Now we just wait.

Hope to see them soon.

I got the 5th Helmet produced and the first in the US! hehehe....Got it for my daughters TK.

Then i count, as far as i know.

1 in asia own by trooperpeter.

1. by Johnny in the US.

1. VaderDave.

4. I got 4 kits of them, i just sold a assembled one to firebladejedi.

So are there only around 5 people in the world, there have a Dan Laws/Dave M 3d first generation cast helmet...

Or are we more out there

Here you see the Dave M helmet:

The Brian R helmet:

Just to name a few details.

The Dave M helmet, have a more round skull vs. the Brian R helmet.

Its also goes more pointy out, and have smaller mic tip hole areas.

The left side tube (looking at the front), are way more slim then the right one.

The nose are way more sharp etc...

This is a Dave M helmet cast, not a Brian R, like the TE/TE2 etc we know off.

The Dan Laws helmet, is a first generation 3D helmet scan cast.

My guess is that the price will be $360 for one assembled helmet, not 720

Correct I will only take 360$, for the DL helmet.

Its the same price DL will take for a assembled helemt, when they will be ready for sale.

I just like to play whit them, aka assemble them as good as i can.

Study them, from every angle.

I like to assemble them, and make them as accurate as i can.

Right now i only got 4 helmet kits, and no body armor to them (which was not the plan, the body parts are still work in progress).

So i just like to help, another trooper out...

I have been dreaming, about getting a Dan Laws helmet suit for a long time.

But i don´t need 4 helmet kits, right now.

So if there are any body out there, there have the same lust for getting one of the most accurate helmets in the world, like me.

I just like to help out, i still got a few left here to play whit.

Plus if i can make a little greens on it too, i guess we both will be happy for the deal.

I can all ways get another kit, in the future, when Dan is ready to sale he´s DL TK/TD suits.

(DL will take 360$, when they will be ready.

We normal say a helmet kit, cost about 33% of a suit price.

A full DL suit, will be 825$.

So i guess a DL kit will be around 275$, so i will make about 85$ on all my work on it, if i sell it for 360$.

Hey maybe i should take more, or keep it LOL )
