[Hello All!]

Thanks everyone! There's actually a member in my Garrison who has a friend who supplies him 501st approved kit which is movie accurate and in my opinion looks a little better than the FX. I'm not a fan of the oversized bucket, although I do agree from pictures I've seen, some people make the FX look quite good (and I still have a newbie eye).

 

I'm excited to get going! Thanks in advance, and thus far for the help I've have/will receive(d)!

Hey everyone!

 

I'm finally persuing one of my desires for quite a few years and joining the 501st! I've been browsing forums for hours and hours tying to figure out where to start on my armor as I really have no clue!

 

Although, after much research I'm beginning to pick up on the jargon and narrowing what I'm looking for. I'm happy I didn't try to get armor first like I was planning to! I'm currently a Cadet with the Carida Garrison in the Philadelphia area.

 

I'm 24 years old and I go to school at West Chester University majoring in Accounting. I'm an absolute Star Wars nut, I collect merchandise and have 4 tattoos.

 

Any advice on my first set of armor would be greatly appreciated. I've received some help already from my local Garrison and I hope to use all of you as another reference!
