Hello!

Just painted the canister with humbrol. How long does it take for humbrol to dry so you can put it over belt. It says you can paint it over after 6 h...is that the same as i can touch it and use the canister without getting paint all over it?

Depending on the humidity and temp. where you are you can typically re-coat in 6 hours, I have done it in as little as 2-3 hours when the weather has been warm.

You should be able to touch and handle it at the 6 hour mark. However the paint probably wont be fully cured for 24 - 48 hours so it may scuff if handled too roughly before then.
