Falc1 Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 Hello all, I am new here and have started building my Anovos kit. Today I was going to glue the bicep cover strips on and noticed they were missing from the kit. I have the other 5 but just not this one. I contacted Anovos and the Customer Service Rep said he needed to create a ticket for a supervisor to ok sending me some. They said a response in a week or so! Wow! My question is, can I just buy some ABS and make my own strips? My concern was I was told the colors may not match. Is that true? Thank you. Quote
Toddahhhh[TK] Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 You'll probably have a hard time finding it locally in the right thickness. I looked at a few hardware stores and ended up ordering from trooperbay.com, he's a pretty fast shipper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Falc1 Posted April 28, 2017 Author Report Posted April 28, 2017 ok, I will try there. Thank you Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 Hey Joe welcome to the FISD. Sorry to hear about your experience. As Todd mentioned buying new cover strip material from a reputable vendor is primary. That said it's most likely the material you purchase will NOT match the Anovos exactly regardless, that's ok, I suggest you use the same Anovos cover strip material on all forward facing joints. At least this will ensure 90% of what the fans see matches. Hope this helps 1 Quote
