  1. Hi Tony, In another thread you mentioned that you can cut the back of the legs out and used this pic for an example. The thighs are all that is left for me to do to complete the initial build but I am sitting her terrified to trim the top of the thighs as many people did and suggested. I am 5'7" and feel it so close. I can almost walk up stairs but the front and back of the knee on thighs catches. What is the lesser of two evils? Cut the backs like below, or trim the top of the thighs? Been a week debating this with myself. Thanks.
  2. Never mind Sir. I surrender. I need to go back to the drawing board. Do more research. I feel that I am not an ideal size for this armor and will need to make some adjustments to get it to fit. I am 5'7" with a stocky build. and Yup, I need to drop about 8 lbs. Hello again, sorry to be a pain in the butt. I am a little confused by the thigh assembly and all the extra cut lines and trimming. I am guessing this is all for a good fit to your leg? I was really hoping to have this done tonight but not looking good. Thank you for all your help.
  3. ok. all good suggestions. I will try the straps first as I intended o using them anyway. Velcro is a smart idea too. I will let you know how it turns out.
  4. here you go. Sorry for the two replies but pics wouldn't attach.
  5. I will take one and post it when I get home. Thanks for the quick reply
  6. Hope all is well with you. I am back building my armor. Real life got in the way of course. My question is, I glued the shoulder connections, the ribbed plastic ones, exactly as you did in your guide, and now I noticed they don't line up correctly with back plate. I feel like my chestplate is a little to round maybe. As a matter of fact my helmet hit it when I test fit. Thoughts? Have you seen this before? I saw some of your AP guide talks a little about checking it but if the armor is shaped that way, what can you do? Thanks again for all your help.
  7. Thank you Tony. That is a good idea. Also, thank you for the Anovos guide. I have been following it closely.
  8. Hello all, I am new here and have started building my Anovos kit. Today I was going to glue the bicep cover strips on and noticed they were missing from the kit. I have the other 5 but just not this one. I contacted Anovos and the Customer Service Rep said he needed to create a ticket for a supervisor to ok sending me some. They said a response in a week or so! Wow! My question is, can I just buy some ABS and make my own strips? My concern was I was told the colors may not match. Is that true? Thank you.
