TK-9820
I made this holster this afternoon for my nearly finished TK project. It was made to fit a resin E-11 that shows up from time to time on the big auction site. I dyed and sealed 4-5 oz cowhide leather, hand-stitched it, and added tan straps that will attach under my canvas belt with screw posts. Got some questions to throw out to the veterans: 1) Do the proportions look ok? (I based it off a screen capture of the one Mark Hamill wore) 2) Are there supposed to be rivets on any of the corners where the stitching is? 3) For future 501st and Elite status consideration, does it matter if the straps are tan or black? I can tweak this thing after getting some feedback. Anything helps. Thanks for looking.
stukatrooper
Tan straps are good,No rivets on stitch corners. The only thing i can see is that the bottom should be open not stiched.
TK-9820
Thanks for the info. I re-did the bottom to open it up. I also replaced the 4-5 oz leather straps with 6-7 oz leather straps in a darker tan. There are now black, rectangular leather pieces under the rivet caps.
