High-K
Hello everyone and greetings from Norway.

To have a Stormtrooper costume has been my dream since I was a kid (probably like the rest of you) and a couple of weeks ago, my dream came true. My two brown boxes arrived from The Shed of glittering delights (old BFA) in UK. I felt like a kid on xmas eve opening the boxes and got pretty fast overwhelmed with all the stuff. I thought I had prepared myself by reading alot of build threads, but seeing everything laying out on my kitchen floor... Wow! So the stuff got packed together in the boxes for some days.

http://i1036.photobucket.com/albums/a449/foretsinnsyktmas/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20160920_212051_zpsnynmfgel.jpg

Meanwhile my E11 from DoopyDoos arrived. Didn't make me less overwhelmed by that.

http://i1036.photobucket.com/albums/a449/foretsinnsyktmas/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20160920_210818_zpsens5tyx3.jpg

So after a few more days of reading and watching TK-1636's fabulous videos, I got the courage to start my self. I've started with the shoulders just to get the feeling of cutting and handling the materials.

http://i1036.photobucket.com/albums/a449/foretsinnsyktmas/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20160927_122002_zps2egikcr8.jpg

The feeling of being scared was gone and the feeling of excitement came. The shoulders got cut out. Same with posterior and kidney plate. Today I just can't wait to get home from work to continue. No rushing, just nice and slow towards my goal. The goal is TK Centurion stunt in the Nordic Legion.
themaninthesuitcase[Admin]
Sounds like you'll do fine. Slow and steady is definitly the way with this. On mine I swapped between the armour and Doopy kits to keep things a bit varied. Have a ready through some of the build threads for the DD, they can be brought to a near perfect replica state if you want to. Don't feel you need to especially for a trooping blaster. Make sure you ask any questions before cutting or gluing bits and you'll be fine.

Ryth_[501st]
Seriously, the Shed sells the butt already parted from the kidneyplate? We had a workshop where we used some time and strenght to remove those pieces from eachother.
High-K
Yes, the butt plate was already seperated. Spared me some time there. Started on the abdomen plate yesterday. So far all my cut outs have been just rough cuts, so have to spend some time sanding them later with a dremel tool. http://i1036.photobucket.com/albums/a449/foretsinnsyktmas/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20160930_191026_zps2hxi653g.jpg I've also got in touch with some of the garrison members close to my home, so hopefully I will get some guidence there. It's a bit different to see a complete armor with my own eyes instead of just seeing pictures online.
