Star Wars fest this weekend

Got my tickets booked for this little event this weekend, looking forward to it.

Just aswell the wife is coming or the credit card could take a right battering.

Would have loved to have been able to make it down to London for this. They have a great bunch of guests booked for it, and some very interesting displays planned, especially relating to Rogue One. However, the cost of accommodation and train journeys is bit too steep atm. Especially after I just spent a pretty penny on a trip down to Leicester to get help on my build.

Ah well, there will be future big events.

The crazy thing is that it is cheaper to FLY me and the wife down than for a train fare for just me.

The accommodation in London would be the biggest cost, but yeah travel costs can just be bizarre. Depends what airport/train station you are departing from really and how far in advance you've booked.

So true, when I was in Europe it was cheaper to fly than go by train.
