Plastic shoulderband broken off - need advice for repair

Hi guys,

Today the plastic band that goes over the shoulder of my anh stunt broke.

Any advice on how I go about repairing this?

For that you are going to want to buy a new one. Contact your armor maker. They usually have spares they can send out. Not very expensive.

Ideally, Jay is correct, you'd replace them.

 

If you need to use your armor in the meantime though, I'd take a piece of ABS, and place it as a "shim" underneath the break, between the bridge and the bottom of the chest and use some CA glue to do the repair on the top of the armor.

Thanks for the replies. I sent a mail to rs for a replacement part. I have a troop on saturday, so ideally I want to repair it by then. What I'm trying to do right now is put a piece of pvc underneath. I have boiled it, put it underneath the chest armor/broken off piece with clamps and I'm currently letting it cool, so it gets the right shape. Then I want to glue it with hard plastic glue.
