AM shoulder bells fitting question

The shoulder bells on the AM kit are huge! Unless you are a nose guard for the Green Bay Packers, you will need to trim them down to fit. Is there a link or thread on this topic? Also the strip down the sides don't look straight. Is there a right and left bell that I need to know about or identify?

The left has the swoop the right doesn't. They are a bit big so if you are small I could see that being an issue but for me at 6'2" they are great!
