Sterling E11 finish question....

I am working on an E11 Sterling made from a parts kit.  I am considering powder coating it when I am finished.  I'm just curious what the others would think of this or should I just prime and paint.

I think the finish should be as close as you can get to the parts kit you already have.  If you match that, you'll have a great starting point.

the blasters in the film were original finish, and then spray painted flat black.

Unfortunately all of the pieces were sandblasted when I got them.
