civitanom Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 I'm buying from trooper gear..the new AM 2 kit..will I need to buy greeblies, and. Everything else for the kit or do these come included (from folks who've bought from him before)

I'm a first time builder so just wanting to know. Quote
Dark CMF[Staff] Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 Hey there Michael,

I'd say that your best bet would be to review several recent AM build threads here and look at what came with those kits, and what those builders wound up buying separately. As a general rule, there aren't any greeblies on an original trilogy TK. you will need strapping supplies, snaps possibly some Velcro, an undersuit, neck seal, canvas belt, boots, gloves... Reviewing those build threads will be an invaluable resource for you. Quote
Sabyre Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 Hey Michael, Justjoseph63, put together a great list of items needed for completing a stormtrooper build. A link to his thread can be found Here. Also, look around some build threads for ideas. If you haven't already done so , read the posts in the Getting Started section. Once your white shinny armor arrives, start a build thread so every one can help guild you along and answer any questions you have as you go. Good Luck! 1 Quote
civitanom Posted September 27, 2015 Author Report Posted September 27, 2015 I will! Is trooper bay a good set of videos to go off of? His seem pretty on point Quote
Sabyre Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 His videos are good. I have used them a few times. Keep in mind he is build a different armor, MTK I believe, and he is using the CA glue. AM2.0 is a little different. However you can get the basic ideas from his videos then cross reference what he shows with some AM build threads. I am building NE armor and have done this myself. I would highly recommend you use E-6000 glue. With the E-6000 you can take the armor back apart if you make a mistake. With CA glue you have no room for error. Quote
