NOS Armor in Shipping Box: But what is it? F/X - GT?

Hi everyone,

 

I'm hoping the vast collective experience on this forum can help me solve a puzzle.

 

I bought a complete "White Body Armor" kit back in November 2005.

The box came from Trey Moore in Arizona. Beyond opening the box to check the parts (in 2005) it has sat in storage ever since.

I had big plans and high hopes back then, but other life requirements got in the way. Sigh.

 

I'd like to sell it, which I will post in the appropriate place of course, but I can't determine exactly what kind of armor this is. I have since lost any emails or other info that would help, too.

I don't want to create a FS: listing on this forum without being completely honest about what type of armor kit this is. It's only fair.

 

It is gloss white ABS plastic, between 0.8 and 0.9 gauge. The helmet is in three parts: dome, back and faceplate. The mouth grille has 3 holes per side, painted grey (ANH).

The kit also came with chrome metal aerators. Based on all this, my suspicion is that it is an older F/X set.

 

I've scanned in a copy of the original instruction manual the kit came with.

 

Does anyone here recognize this? Can anyone help me confirm its an F/X or suggest an alternate maker?

I'm happy to provide additional, more detailed photos, if that would help.
