aDOPElexis Posted March 19, 2015 Report Posted March 19, 2015 Hello All Just got an AM Kit and I am looking to have my bucket self sustaining. Must haves: Mic with ampflied/adjustable speakers in the Mic tips "Popping noise" after speaking similar to MYNOCK's Enviromental Amp System with headphones 2 Squirrel cage fans Obviously, I would love to have seperate switches for the fan and the audio setup. I know it is a lot to put in the bucket and so many manufacturers out there. Is there anyone out there that has been able to fit all this in their bucket? Can you provide pictures? Which manufacturers do you suggest? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Alex Quote
Dark CMF[Staff] Posted March 19, 2015 Report Posted March 19, 2015 I've got most of it in my helmet. My Rom/FX audio board is mounted in my chest plate though. The only person that I know of that has all of that mounted in his bucket is ukswrath. Outside of the power supply, he has everything in his helmet. If you look him up, he has the pictures of his electronics builds in his forum signature. Anyway, I have the following in my helmet: Echo Fan System - available here in the for sale section after you have access. Skyminer Environmental Audio System - available here in the for sale section after you have access. My speaker is mounted in my chest plate, along with my Rom/FX board, available at www.romfx.com and I do believe that he is taking names for a run of them right now. He only does one or two runs annually. Everything has separate switches. I turn on my Rom/FX before I put on my torso armor, and my EAS before I put my helmet on. I can turn the fans on and off while wearing the helmet at needed. Quote

You're more than welcome to use any of the ideas I have there. BTW, by the end of the weekend I should have my new new ATA helmet pics posted, here's a sample. --------- Edited January 1, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed Quote
