gazmosis[501st] Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 http://www.goodyearep.com/productsdetail.aspx?id=16154 When working on my blaster project a while ago, I knew I was going to make the movement of the charging bolt functional. I also knew that the parts were going to mostly be resin and plastic and a spring with too much strength might crack things or be impossible to draw back. I was in PEP BOYS and found E-Z COIL by Goodyear. You can look at the link to see it. There is a metal bar that allows the spring to be bent. Remove this and you have a perfect E-11 bolt spring. This is $9. Quote
Bulldog44[TK] Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 Which size E-z coil did you buy to fit the tube? Gonna head over to pep boys tomorrow to get one! Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted August 9, 2013 Author Report Posted August 9, 2013 The biggest one, Brian. 3/4 I believe it is Quote
Bulldog44[TK] Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 Thanks! Can't wait to try it out when I get my kit together. Quote
Duras[TK] Posted September 2, 2013 Report Posted September 2, 2013 this is a cool tip... trying to find a source in Australia for one. I have found a off-brand version which is the right width but its length is a little short.... I think it will just be borderline OK as long as make a longer ejector port Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted September 3, 2013 Author Report Posted September 3, 2013 You should be able to order one through the link Quote
