Boba_Skywalker3
Ok, I need some help! What is a return edge and how do I make one? Thanks!
YouCantBe Sidious[TK]
A return edge is where the armor ends and turns back inwards towards your body. To create one, you need a modeling iron. If you search on this forum for more info., you will see some good tutorial stuff on creating return edges.

Boba_Skywalker3
What are they used for? Are they required?
RedSpecial[TK]
They make the armor look more substantial but alot of us remove them or greatly reduce them on alot of parts for the sake of comfort or accuracy in some cases. correct me if Im wrong but I dont think they're required, at least not for legion approval. YouCantBe Sidious[TK]
No - return edges are a personal preference. They make the armor look thicker, give it depth. They also are good for armor bites and a good bit of scratching. I know a lot of people remove all of them.
