stormtrooperguy[501st] Posted September 9, 2011 Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 the way the paint is sort of peeling off around the handle has me a bit nervous there. does the paint seem solid / well bonded to the gun other than where it's peeling? if it is, i'd just paint over it. it's going to get scuffed and need maintenance all the time, and i feel like the layers of paint makes it feel more realistic. if the paint peels off easily, stripping it down might not be a bad plan. you wouldn't want to try to sand the grips though, since you'd end up killing a lot of the detail.
