n0c00lgamertag
When putting the mic tips into the hollow areas of the helmet, how far above the ridge of that indentation should the top (mesh) part of the mic tip sit? Are they recessed and sit down inside? Or does the tip rise above the ridge slightly? Or a lot? I tried looking at other posts and can't really tell, and the main site is down. Also, when tightening the nut for the screw post on the mic tip, I squished the bubbly part on the other side of the indent inside of the helmet slightly? Ok or bad? gazmosis[501st]
If looking at the lid from the side, you should see the tops a little. You shouldnt see any part of your "squish". Most if not all helmets are thin in this area so don't sweat it but just don't torque it down too much.
