Animated snowclone boots

Quartermaster from CTN asked me the design and making of this, here the reference pic:

 

 

The base shoe is the animated clone boot, but added a belt with velcro and a toe piece leather, I started with the cut leather patterns:

 

 

And after the sew, the result:

Just for a final idea:

 

 

Now, for the calf leather armor the leather belts:

Here the pics of the upper section:

 

Remember the boot that I used to model is an standard clone and is used for visual reference only.

 

The latest new was the big quantity leather that "ate" the upper section, that is not problem because the final result pleased to me.

 

 

a close up of the opened calf leather armor, I reinforced the interior to make them hard and used a thick foamy interior for comfort

The boots of the lower section are in the final stage, I will put together the boots and the calf leather armor may be tomorrow.

I put the shoes and the armor together for this pic, I need to finish the soles, paint and final touchs.
