Side rivet placement?

Hi Folks. Just a quick question today. I have had to add side shims so how should I go about the six side rivets? Should I do three on the AB and three on the kidney as usual or three on the AB and three on the shim to keep the spacing of the rivets how they should be?

how big of a shim are you working with? The rivets should be aligned together as seen in reference shots. So then down along your ab piece and then down along the shim you add.

Thanks Daniel. The shims are one inch wide.I was surprised that I had to use shims as I'm not a big bloke. I 'll get some pics up soon.
