Wiggleplum
Hello everyone, I will soon be buying an ATA armor set, and had a couple of questions. I know that most helmets come with the decals, but am I right to assume that i will still have to paint the ears and the chin? I found a really helpful paint color guide here on the site that i will use if it is true. Also, the ATA suit is HIPS plastic and that I will have to paint or polish it. Which would be easiest or look best? If I have to paint it, what paint brand is recommended? Thanks for your help

Thanks for your help yes you will have to paint the ears and chin yourself, also the teeth.. its alot easier to paint the ears with pinstripe tape... most people will say that it looks better painted, you should sand and prime first then use a brand of gloss white paint that is meant for plastic like rust-oleum or krylon edit: btw the ata helmet does not come with decals, get some here http://members.cox.net/appstronaut/tk4510_decals.html or hand paint them Edited December 15, 2010 by jedislayer5000
