My new project.

This was a gift from a friend and as it had allready been partly trimmed (the eyes very trimmed lol)i decided it wasnt going to be a TK.

It was biscuit coloured ABS and the pull was pretty good as you can see, so i decided to either turn it into a TD or a TX, i had to do a couple of repairs on it, and it was going to need painting anyway so i decided to "TX" it as i love the silver black look....

 

This is it when first assembled.

This is it after a few coats of black and a polish with some good car polish (Mer, it can be used on fresh paint without taking the paint off like t-cut does).

 

As it was a gift i couldnt say no to it and yes i know its more than likely its a recast but please no recast discussions/arguments here there is a thread allready for that,

UPDATE: frown is now painted as are the stripes, traps & tears, Hovi's re-installed - just gotta get some lenses, fit the screen behind the frown and some sort of liner .... oh and cut down the huge screws holding the ears on

Thanks, yea pity about the eyes but it just means they will have a more ESB look to them and with some good mirrored silver lenses it will look ok i think
