How should the Ab and cod piece fit

Is it ok to overlap the ab over the cod piece or should they sit on top of each other? I know the seam is not to be visable from the front as per the CRL.

The ab should sit on top of the cod, as if they were a single piece.

 

Unless you intentionally cut the cod for the sake of flexibility and/or ease of going #1 (which some troopers do), the two should actually be a single piece.

Mine came with them seperated.

Excellent . Now just attach them together with snaps or elastics on top of each other and you'll be able to sit and move more.

I cut mine, took an inch out of the length, then just stuck them back together with 2" elastic and ABS glue
