Force Unleashed 2

I haven't played it personally, but these new troopers look like a cross between the Royal Guards and a Stormtrooper.

Looks like a modified TK Chest, TB Boots and Knee armor, Modified Darth Revan/Royal Guard Helmet.

 

Anyone know more about them? I haven't seen any discussion about them on the forcepike forums.

Having not yet played, I will yield to anyone who knows better, but what I had taken away from those shots was an earlier version of the Capitol Guards -- the garrison force on Imperial Center who evolved from the Coruscant Guard (later Coruscant Shocktroopers)... the guys Luke and Lando dressed up as in Shadows of the Empire.

 

Thing to remember, though, is that TFU2 is currently an Infinities story, possibly EU at best, unlike the G-canon that the first game enjoys, so I don't know how much stock I'd put in anything shown in there as far as how it relates to the "prime" SW universe.

Here the only description I found, they seem to be called "Imperial Riot Troopers" :
