TE Armor

specifically CAP-W armor... i know its TE derived, i just wanted to know, is this fan sculpt or movie accurate? how good is it, easy to assemble etc i cant seem to find anything on the armor, just the buckets, which i love

A bit of both really.

 

Most of the armor is from the same base as all other TE derived armor, but the belt at least is different. Also, the knee plate is TM copy and the compad on the thermal detonator is crashman copy.

 

The canonical TE base suit is derived from a background ROTJ suit and parts of a tour suit IIRC. However some TE derived makers swap out or clean up parts and thus they start to deviate from each other.

 

The information is all around us, and I know some people have started creating a family tree with lineages, but so far none has appeared. Would be great though to see this in text form and then visually like the breakdowns here : http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=7251

FWIW, this is off the top of my head and I'm sure someone else will fill in the other details.
