Newbie armour build

I bought some cheap (well I thought it cheap) armour off ebay. Thought it would be good practice, before I invest in something more accurate(don't tell the wife ) Been toying with idea for months now, maybe years. The kit I bought is Fx, probaly not one one the best choices I made. But in the current finacial climate, I thought a smart one.

I know the armour is not very accurate, but with a change of bucket, would it get me 501st status?
