As a general rule, stay away from eBay. There are many good armor makers that work with the FISD. Take a look around the boards, check out the armor types, and see what you like and what other people have said about the armor and maker. Do plenty of research before you buy...many people have bought quickly, gotten a poor set, and regretted it. Make sure to check out the Academy site for detail information about the CRLs and parts that you'll need for your suit.

Best piece of advice is...take your time, and have fun!

Morning Allen,

"CAVEAT EMPTOR" is a very good rule of thumb for our hobby.

However, in this case, this particular vendor is one of us (501st Legion) and has been offering FX Armor for a good while now.

FX Armor is a great set of armor for a beginner. I started my Star Wars journey in FX Armor.

Good luck!

the Ebay link in question is from a long time vendor. He's reliable but you would get a better deal with Deckard's AM armor.

There are a variety of options that you can look at. Check around the boards and see what other people are wearing. There are usually slight variations in size and accuracy, as well as in price. Look at the EIB section as well...you can see what other troopers made EIB with kit and bucket-wise.
