  1. Hi Terry About to glue the cover strips and the inside shim. I got myself the E6000 glue, any tips before i start? I have got the clamps already, and have some ice cream sticks too! Thanks
  2. LOOKS GREAT!!!!!! Keep us updated. Are going TD or TK? I was having problems lining up my AP build myself. I just assembled my thighs last week. I tried to line them up at the top. Thank God for ANH "Cover Strips" and Moddeling irons! Andy
  3. I have the front of the thighs glued. I wished I used blue painters tape one one of them. One turned out ok and the other there is a gap. That is what the ANH "Finishing\Cover Strips are for. For the "But Seams" I used plastic signs from 'Harbor Freight Tools". I used a wider strip for the "But Seam" for more support. The Magnets are 'heavy Duty" Rectangle ones from "Home Depot". I like them better than the smaller Silver round ones from "JoAnn Fabrics". I did not like how they would pinch my hands and left them "Bloody". I am glad that I bought a "moddeling Iron". I know I will be using it next.
  4. "cover strips"... I should've thought of that. Thanks bro!
  5. Welcome aboard! Thighs and shins are generally 20mm arms and biceps are 15mm. You can do a search for "ANH cover strips" for more info
  6. Depends on how many cover strips you have on hand to use. Sometimes you might only have enough for the front and back of the thigh. In that case, you can use styrene (buy it from a hobby store) or extra cuttings / flash plastic that you trimmed off the armor to reinforce the inside of the butt seam. That's what I did.
  7. Do you mean A New hope style cover strips? The go on the front and back of the biceps, forearms, thighs and shins. Arms are usually 15mm wide, legs are 20mm.
