CONGRATULATIONS!
A fantastic effort on all fronts. It is a thrill to see our second ROTJ Centurion. You've done a fantastic job and I congratulate you on your accompliushment.

CONGRATULATIONS!
I am so thrilled to see more ROTJ Centurions. A fantastic job all-around. Very well done, indeed.
-
Happy birthday, Mathias! Have a great day!
"Set for fun!"
-
Always pushing the level of accuracy. Great stuff!

The maroon beret is commonly an Airborne beret. eBay is full of them. You may find one in a military surplus store.
The FISD tradition is to sew one of the Detachment beret flashes (patch) over the left eye on the front of the beret.
Like this:
Centurion beret
Centurion beret
EIB beret
And admittedly,
I had a similar idea of wearing my beret with my black staff (stormtrooper) officer uniform.
-
Congratulations Ingrid! Welcome to the ranks of the Centurion!
Now grab your maroon beret and report to C VI.
-
What Mathias said. Put it on sideways. slip it down and then turn it around the correct way.
-
I got my hammer greeblies from Smitty here on FISD. I grabbed the door catch, scope, and scope rail from PredAlien64 on eBay.
D-rings from Sonnenschein.
The forward D-ring holder and original front sight come from Blind Squirrel Props.
The U-track comes from TK-J.
The rest of the details were scratch-built by my brother in-law. All of this stuff was put onto a SR Props E-11 gun kit. SR Props is no longer in existance.

The ROTJ E-11 is a delightfully aggravating puzzle.
I built mine off of an ANH E-11 kit. I modified it heavily to make it ROTJ. There aren't a whole lot of ROTJ resources out there. Your greatest hurdle will be sourcing the correct parts... the scope rail and scope are a challenge but resin versions do pop up on eBay on occasion.
The FISD will likely be your best chance at finding the ROTJ greeblies. Watch the sales areas and read through the ROTJ sub-forum. Research to find out where other ROTJ troopers found their parts.
-
Yep. I already pointed him towards your eBay auction.
-
I am looking forward to seeing this build unfold. He's done some stunning work on his E-11 (I've read about it on my garrison's forums).
It's particularly cool to see another trooper in Western Australia!
-
Welcome, Bev! The trooper is an amazing build. I encourage you to research a lot. Any question you may have has likely been asked before and the FISD has all of the answers.
Furthermore, I encourage you to go for EIB and beyond. Please don't settle for basic 501st Legion approval.
-
Congratulations!
The time is wildly variable. It could take a couple of days to a few weeks. It all depends on when someone gets around to it. Since this is done in people's spare time there's no set schedule.
-
Yep. Try the above link. I Photoshopped mine.
-
That means you, too, Mark.
-
Very cool.
When not being worn, I display mine:

I always, always dig seeing our troopers rockin' their berets!
-
Congratulations Chivo! Welcome to the EIB ranks. We need to get more of our squad to go EIB.
-
Very cool resource! That's fantastic!
-
Not that I've found.
For my strapping, I mimiced that drawing pretty closely. And I've got the great helmet liner replica from Mark in the bucket.
-
Very nice, indeed. It's always good to see a bit of ROTJ recognition.
-
Just ordered a new helmet to replace my AM bucket and then I should be all good to apply for the EIB.
Go all the way to Centurion, mate!
-
I'm looking forward to the next round of photos.
I'm glad that you've padded out the shoulder bells. It's a nice touch of accuracy. I can't tell if you've got the pinch on the shoulder bells or not.
Vern's holsters are great! I use one. I mounted it to my belt with chicago screws. They look a lot like rivets and they alow me to remove the holster if I ever wanted to.
Let's see the E-11. The ROTJ E-11 has a lot of detail and I'm curious to get a look at yours.
-
And how's the ROTJ build going? From the only picture I've seen, the armor needed rubber trim, paint on the ab plate buttons, the straps on the shoulder bells raised, and a new blaster.
How many of us are there?

Very slow to respond on my part. I'm still a ROTJ trooper. First ROTJ Centurion ever to be approved (in 2012).
