  1. Thanks guys! I'm very very close here. I'll post some progress pictures tonight.

Do you have any reference photos showing the LED?

Well, other than the plastic Nerf toy has a red line about right there,

I only have one and its very faint. let me see if i can dig it up... :)

Is that a US Standard Tactical Bananna, or an EU Issue Bananna?

Banana is for scale... I'd say its US Standard, and it was delicious by the way... ;)

  2. Alright, just a quick update again. I have one last part to update in the files and then the main section and gun needs to be printed again...  and we should be good to go!!

This image has some final parts, including the M4 sight, back section that holds the gun in (have already been cleaned up in the file), and the flash in the front. and I put the old gun back in because it's hallow and I wired an LED / 9 volt in the main section. :) it looks pretty awesome when its a bit darker.

I have not tried fitting any other Glock in the shell other than the printed ones. but I'll leave that to you guys... :)

I'm hoping to have the files for you all soon!

  3. Hey guys,

Sorry its been a few days since my last update, I printed the main shell again and then made some more adjustments in the 3d program. I'm working on getting the Glock so I feel okay releasing the files. I also printed a new glock body (it took 21 hours) with the clip in. it looks nice but i found that i'll have to reprint it AGAIN! :( The outter grip that covers the glock grip was too far off the model (this is why I print tests).  The good news is, I have a few small things to print tomorrow to see how they turn out one or two things still left to fix on the model, the whole thing to print again (including the glock) organize the files and that's about it. I'm hoping for sometime next week to be done. and it better be soon; my girlfriend is about to kill me.

The trigger of the actual glock has a safety on it. I have this on but jammed in there real good. This thing is fresh off the 3d printer so it needs a lot of clean up. I'm hoping to leave some room in this bad boy for a 9volt battery and a couple LEDs and hopefully someone more experienced than me can hook up more lights and sounds.

I don't have my TFA armor yet so I'm not sure how large to make the holster screws, so those are just place holders.

I'll try to make an update soon with more progress.

  4. I made a few changes, and I only have a few more to make when I get some free time, then I'll be printing version two.

To answer some questions; I haven't decided on doing a run of these or not. I will be putting the files out there for the shell and greeblies, and possibly a flat version of the Glock...

The only thing I ask... Please do not sell them! As long as no one is printing these for profit.

  5. I did a quick print to see how it fits together, i didn't really clean it up too much and there are still a few parts i need to update and fix I also didn't print a piece that covers the handle to make is smooth... the Glock isn't complete but, I'm pretty happy with it.

  6. I sure am getting excited about this.. its really starting to pull together! I might even attempt a 3d Print tomorrow after work! I have the screw holes in place but I dont know how it will fit together in physical form... Here is what I have.

I haven't really done much to the other side. it just needs the "holster plate" attached. and the gun needs a custom paint job. I don't know how I feel about that small black spot at the top; I think I need a better reference photo.  And I don't know how I'm going to attach the front part. if it will just be part of the "shell" of if it will be detachable. I kind of want to go with one of each, so if someone wants to add a light or something to the opening.. I don't know... I'm open to suggestions! :)

  7. OHH, I'm FAR from done with this...

T5H, I just couldn’t wait :)  I think the Glock is correct but the handle needs some work, and the barrel needs to be a tad shorter. But since it's 3d printed, I  can just cut it, and if it doesn’t look right, I’ll print another one. What’s really cool about it is that it's the entire gun, with all of the working parts. so the trigger moves, the slide moves... etc. it’s kind of scary that you can print something like that. with a little modifications, you might be able to make it actually fire.

I am very familiar with the M4A1 and the M16 front sight assembly (I'm in the US military), I was looking into 3d models. but for now i just have those sticks. lol

  8. I've been working on this for a while, I dont know who else is doing anything with it but I would like to share what I have so far. I've already printed the Glock by itself.  There are a few parts I plan on changing and a few more that still need to be developed. along with LEDs... :)

  9. I have built many a kit (FX, AP, ATA, RS) and have trooped many different types of events.

My personal opinion (since I own a set of ABS RS armor). if you plan on trooping a lot... go with the PVC. It holds up better, and is more bendable than the ABS. Don’t get me wrong, the ABS looks fantastic, and is super accurate to the screen used armor, but its not as sturdy as the PVC.

The ABS armor in the movies was cheap and easily replaceable if it tore. I got mine in ABS for a display mannequin.

The "accurate" strapping system is great, thats what i got too, but it's up to you how you want to strap it all together. having all the correct rivets ready to go is very handy though. its like a one stop shop.
 :)

  10. hey guys!

I've been looking for days for Stelmax 1985 Adhesive (white) on several websites. i find it but it wont let me buy because my shipping address is in the US.. I think it has to do with mailing flammable substances overseas. does anyone know where to buy this stuff here in the states? (LOL.... legally)

    Thanks!

  11. I just got my RS armor, but I had them trim it for me (like the original), I gave them my measurements, and it fits me perfectly… I also got the strapping system.. took me a bit to figure out where everything goes (no instructions).. lol I have experience putting together armor so I wanted to do mine on my own. RS props, their stuff is top shelf, most screen accurate armor out there, hands down IMO. Honestly, if you are willing to pay for the full set of this stuff, might as well go all out and get it either put together or at least trimmed. If you are worried about the sizing, take pictures of how you are sizing, just in case.

  12. I recently purchased an RS suit with the HDPE helmet (for display only) im making it into an ESB style... I'm trying to make this as accurate as i possibly can.

does anyone know if the screen used undersuit was a one piece or two? if i had to guess i would say it was some sort of unitard (for dance)?

what I have for my trooping armor a one piece from "stormtrooper undersuit.com"

If you are anything like i am when i come on, here is what i have so far!
