Lightsting

I do have a question with regards to my Centurion TK build. The AP set I have is obviously all ABS and polishes up quite nicely. However due to the fact that I am making an ANH Stunt and all the stunts had painted buckets (your all familiar with all that green stuff :-)) That being said does the bucket need to be painted? I looked around and never found an answer though I may be completely oblivious and blind. Thanks!
