Hey there Dmian, thanks for your reply!
I contacted the Dutch Outpost, and the XO's been a good help so far. He also thinks the FX is a good deal. I could go with more screen accurate armour, but I am not sure if I will fit it without shimming. Also, I wouldn't mind modding the FX up to spec. Provided I get an How To Make An FX More Screen Accurate, manual. I don´t mind stylized, after all we´re from a galaxy far, far away and not on a set or workshop 300 miles from my home . My wallet, however, is very much here. Craftsmanship aside, I think paying over double just to get a screen accurate armor... Maybe when I'm 35-ish or got a bigger income, but not now.
So what's really 'wrong' about FX? Cos apart from the bucket, I think most of the things are in proportion? Maybe modding the 'bib' a bit... But apart from that, what's to change?
I allready got a MRCE that I'm willing to mod the heck out of. E11 conversion kit is in the mail.
Right now I just want to trod around in white, no person on the street who can tell the difference. Also, with the current TK-rate in the Dutch Outpost I don't think I'll stand out much with an FX.
I got:
Bicep: 15,35 inches
Forearm: 12,59 inches
Thigh: 24,4 inches
Length: 5'9" (finally got the inches and stuff right. It's 177cm)
Weight is 248 pounds, but most of it is tucked in the belly department (darn you coca cola!).
So if you say: wow ____ armor will fit you like a glove and _______ is much better than FX cos it has actual air that's been around the original moulds... I'll be listening .
If it's because FX leaves a lot of black? I got short legs and arms probably so I think I'll be fine in that department.
Well, off to work!
Take care and be safe you all!
