  1. Just wanted some info on the MR CE bucket that is available. Does it have the black door trim on the edge of the hole where your noggin goes? If so, does it go all the way round? Also, how is the brow trim attached? like the original buckets (compression fitted onto the edge of the lid part), or more like the FX lid where its simply glued onto the front? Thanks in advance, Pablo
  2. If i can find a MRCE bucket within the next month, then thats when i'd be willing to sell the FX. Ideally, i'd like the sale of my FX to cover most of the MRCE purchase, if not all of it, so approx £60-70 (open to haggling/straight swap for a MRCE)
  3. I am tempted to get the MRCE bucket, just need to source one, and secure a buyer for my black FX one...
  4. Can anyone point me towards this Scott chap selling chrome tube stripes? Cheers
  5. Yea, the leap in quality of looks was huge. Plus they are amazing at hiding the inside of your lid from the outside, yet the clarity of vision is amazing. Top notch find from Mark on these. If he doesnt mind me saying, he is likely to whip up some more if people are interested.
  6. small bump Would really like to know if anyone out there uses a setup like this and what their thoughts are?
  7. Whilst the FX lid is accepted, it is not viable for "Elite" status. This should be a factor in your decision. Also note it is the largest lid about. So, if your not largely built, you want to go for Elite status and its cheaper to source a different lid, then do that
  8. I have fitted these lovely new mirror lenses to my FX bucket, to make my TX Stealthtrooper look more striking. Can't stress how good they look in person! The lenses were made by Mark (TK6540UKG) and arrived promptly, despite me missing the post oops! Below are a couple of snaps. I tried my best to install them using hot glue, but got a bit of overflow, so i might remove them, clean them up and re-try it! -------
  9. As soon as I have some spare time to try out this little mod, I'll be sure to take some photos of my attempt.
  10. Yes, I imagine they come in various configurations I am thinking it would be pretty good, due to its crappy sound quality (mimics the "radio" static) and the voice changer bit might help with making me sound more "trooperish" (if there was ever such a word!)
  11. TK6237 - Your solution looks lovely!! Did you use anything to bond the FIMO to the bucket, or are the "barrels" held in place by FIMO's naturally "tackiness"? I done have FIMO on hand, but i do have some two part putty that air drys rock solid in a few hours (can even cure underwater!!) so I may give it a whirl! p.s. thank you to everyone else who made suggestions, I took notes don't worry EDIT - Sorry my bad, didn't see the bit where you said you used e6000 to hold them in place! Really need to get me some of that glue, and get my eyes tested at the same time!
  12. ---------- Has anyone tried using one of these things for their bucket voice amp setup? If so, what are your opinions etc? Thanks!
  13. looks like hotglue will be the best option then, as its also semi-permanent. just need to find myself some decent lenses first oh and to find my glue gun!
  14. Hi folks, I was curious as to how other troopers fix their lenses in place? I am currently trying out some different configurations and wondered how best to fix them in place. I am trying out having 2 seperate flat lenses and also trying one long lense (n.b. my bucket is a FX) Photos of your lense setup would be appreciated if possible, Cheers
  15. Thanks for the advice guys. Any idea how much paint i will need to cover my kit? i.e. X number of Y oz/ml/whatever unit cans cheers
