  1. Ok, this may be a silly question, but I've been searching for this and haven't found the answer anyplace.  On the abdomen of the TK, there are two snaps around waist level that would be covered by the belt.  I've not seen any pics of the belt showing anything that connects to those snaps, but I can't figure out what else they could be for.  What are they for?

Here's a stolen pic showing the thing I'm talking about:

See the two male snaps above the line between crotch-plate and abdomen?  What do they hook into?  The belt pics I've seen haven't shown snaps, but maybe I'm just missing something obvious.

  2. How they carried their clothes with them though, I never could figure out

    I see three possibilities:

    • They threw the clothes away, to support their ruse that the ship was abandoned shortly after take off. Then, since they're in the trash compactor anyway, they fished out their clothes before leaving.
    • Their clothes are pretty standard items, and were among the selections available from a vending machine in the Stormtrooper locker room.
    • A wizard did it.

  3. Almost forgot: In order to wear this, you must be between 5'10 and 6' tall and weigh no more than 170lbs. If you have any thick arms or legs, you may not be able to put parts of this on! You ideally need to be as skinny as me!

Well, that's the real trick then, isn't it?

I've had to suffer the embarrassment of standing next to you at events; it's a gorgeous suit. I'd consider snagging it myself were I a few pounds lighter. Ok, quite a few pounds lighter.

  4. I'm tinkering with an ANH hero helmet, and I'm trying to figure out the black stripes for the ear cap pieces. Are there any on that helmet? The CRL seems to be zero help in that regard.

Sure, I could go back through the movie and pause at key points and stuff... but all that work's already been done by someone else with more free time, so their efforts shouldn't go to waste. :)
