    I'm 5'6" so I definitely need to figure this out. Just did my first troop and I had painful pinching from the thigh pieces. I am wondering if I can take a cm off all around the top of the thigh pieces.

    I am also from Riverside, now living in West Michigan (Wyoming, MI). I am gathering my armor after learning what I can from the forums. It's overwhelming at first but I hope it will get easier once I meet more people from the 501st.
