I like how it looks similar to the original prop, NGL. I think the outer part of the ear needs to be round and smooth, and the frontal portion of the helmet should be straightened a bit, but I am not sure whether or not the frontal part is good enough. What other plans are you going to add for the mod?

Ok, so yes, I've got an update on the ear mod. With the help of Matthew Wall, we now have ears that have the full circle ear cap and a slope up to the ear greeblie without such a large plateau and more rounded corners.

I know this is quite late, but I think the Patrol Trooper helmet is a heavily modified new-gen TK helmet. It seems that certain parts of the Patrol Trooper helmet, such as the ears, part of the dome, and the back, resemble the ones of the new-gen/Rogue One TK helmet. However, the Patrol Trooper helmet has some grooves on the back. Both Deuno Novo and Anovos made a Patrol Trooper helmets, and here are the comparisons between the Rogue One TK helmet and the Patrol Trooper helmet.

honestly I encourage you all to reach out to Denuo Novo and ask that they consider pursuing the release of the ROTK/Mimban helmet that Anovos prototyped several years back. I've mentioned it in an inquiry email with them and the customer agent said he would pass along my interest. Maybe if enough of us speak up, they will consider doing so.

 

But with all that said, I actually had recently made additional mods to the teeth as well as added alignment keys to the tears and traps, and as I mentioned before I am going to attempt to modify the ear caps, but I'm not sure it that will turn out.

 

I'll add a post about the additional mods here soon.

I found a video where it showcases the original Rogue One TK armor from a Rogue One premiere. I noticed that Nico's Rogue One TK helmet ears seem to look very different than the original prop.

The ears from the TK helmet from the 2022 celebration look different as well. However, I'm not sure if the armor from that convention really counts as a Rogue One TK armor.

Here's a bonus: a comparison between the back sides of ears on the original Rogue One TK bucket and Nico's Rogue One TK bucket.

I agree with you. I am concerned about the parts on Nico's R1 TK helmet ear caps, too. I even made comparisons between Nico's R1 TK bucket and a R1 TK.

I noticed that the ears on Nico's R1 helmet are not accurate enough. I even made a comparison between a 3D render of a TK bucket from the production of Rogue One and Nico's R1 bucket. Personally, I wish that either you or Nico could modify the ears of the helmet, although you mentioned that the ears were one of your least concerns.

Hello, my fellow troopers,

 

My name is Josh, and I am from Texas. I watched all of the Star Wars movies and read some Star Wars books like Labyrinth of Evil. One of my most favorite Star Wars films is Revenge of the Sith, which showcases the duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin in Mustafar, as well as Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader. The first time I heard about the 501st Legion was in middle school. At that time, I was not entirely aware of the organization's background. What kind of motivated me to join the 501st Legion is that I wore an old Rubies 501st trooper costume during middle school for Halloween. Later, during my winter break of my high school junior year, I met a Phase 1 Trooper, a Sandtrooper, and the other members of the 501st and Rebel Legions in Galveston. For a while, I have been planning to make a Rogue One TK costume. I am looking forward to your suggestions and advice. Thanks.
