  2. Hi there, I was unable to see the new racing shirt merch run info, and noticed my affiliation still shows as 'pending'. Could someone help me with that pls? I received my approval & TK ID in Dec. '23 so didn't complete the 2023 census - unsure if that's relevant or not?? Do I need to update anything in that section of my profile? My first troop wasn't until Jan. this year. My email address here was different to my 501st / Nightfall Garrison account, so I have updated them both to be the same. Cheers. Ian
  3. Thanks Glen for the extra maker names - I'll report back in. Hopefully it's useful to any other new Aussies...
  4. Ross @ RWA came back to me & said a large box to Australia is £300 - which is about $570 AUD...yikes!!! I reached out to Douglas @ Trooperstuff & he has the option to split it up over 3 payments if I want to go with a (mostly) custom build. Any thoughts on that option that you can share? Is it worth creating a build thread maybe & asking there? I don't know if shipping from a US maker would be cheaper - from past experience it's further than from the EU so usually as much as the item from my experience Sorry for the q's - hope you don't mind.
  5. Thanks Steve & Glen - once I hear back from RS I'll let you know.
  6. Thanks Kyle - I've already reached out to RS Props with a few questions about shipping. As I'm in AU I think shipping may be cheaper that from the US, but I'll check out the recommended US shops too.
  7. Thanks Wibowo!
  8. Thanks Rudi!
  9. Thanks so much for the links & warm welcome! I'm sure I'll be picking Andrew's, Glen's & everyones brains - well off to the interwebs to do some reading
  10. Hi all, My name is Ian from Melbourne, Australia & I've just joined the 501st Knightfall garrison there. I'd like to build up an ANH Stormtrooper costume - no experience whatsoever (but willing to learn ) so would appreciate any guidance on getting started. Especially if there are any reputable local Aussie vendors that I could support by buying from them. Cheers, Ian
