  1. Hi Bob, thanks. the links work. I just ordered them. I really appreciate it.
  2. These look great! Can you tell me what size buckle and snaps you used and size of strapping? Also do you have a link to the suspenders? Thanks!
  3. @BigJasoni as always a wealth of knowledge! For me, when I see a TK i think Star Wars and its really unfortunate, no designers have capitalized on this. With so many persons having access to 3D printers now, a well designed set of files is gold. You are so right about thickness and flexibility of 3D printed parts etc. I am so happy you are started your designing but I know how hectic things get IRL. I'll keep an eye out just in case you ever finish them. As for me, I am about 90% completed printing the CG trader files but as you said, time to get the Dremel out, lol. Once I'm comfortable, I'll start a build thread an hopefully you can give me some pointers also. Thanks again!
  4. @TheRascalKing I just spent the better half of an hour going through this goldmine of a thread. I just love it, and good news on the medical front also! Question: Do you have a link to the big round magnets and the belt you had on that supports the thigh pieces?
  5. It seems like there are a few go-to 3D files everyone is using while printing their RO TKs (cgTrader to be exact). Its June 2023, are there any designers who have put out an accurate set of 3D files? I know Paul Prentice is light years ahead with the mudtroopers (and some of the parts are interchangeable). If anyone knows of a complete resource, please let me know as I believe this would be invaluable for anyone thinking about 3D printing their armor.
  6. @Klaymorr I've started my printing after yours and BigJasoni's build. I am using the same Akira files for my build. Did you print the files as they came without modification? Someone mentioned that full printed set of armor is a bit heavy. I was thinking to change the thickness a bit since I am printing with ABS and there is a little more "give" than PLA. Would appreciate your thoughts on the weight and if you did any modification, thanks!
  7. First post First of all, thanks @BigJasoni for your build thread. It was the inspiration for me to start my own TK armor kit. So basically the TPU allows the "bounce and flexibility and the white strapping is to ensure if the TPU breaks, the armor doesn't fall apart?
