  1. Always love seeing a Centurion application! Just a note before the DOs get here. You may want to check the overall width of your thermal detonator; it might be wider than the standard 7.5-7.75 inches. The grey gaps between the panel and the end caps appears to be a little disproportional relative to the overall detonator width; a bit too wide. The goal should be for the black screws on the clips to be in alignment with the outer edges of the control panel. Also the end caps should be as close to 20mm wide as you can get them, so you may have a little room to shave them down a bit.

Be aware that WTF thermal dets use a 2-inch pipe, which is a bit smaller in diameter than the screen-used ones shown above, so there will be some variance in proportions. But both 2-inch and 68mm tubes are approvable at all levels.

See you at L3 soon! And don’t forget to order EI and Centurion rockers once you’re cleared!

  2.
Check out this scene. The Nightsisters (great mothers?) dresses blow in the wind in a very silk/chiffon way.  The material seems very flowing and ephemeral, just like the material J found.

Another mark in the plus column for this material! I'm gonna order some. :dancing-trooper:

And tell us, Adam. This will make how many different versions of these wraps that you’ve purchased? Gotta be maybe your fourth, right?

See @Sassypants3 - As Jonatan says, we have you GLOBALLY covered! Canada, Georgia, Australia, Sweden, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, and Cali! All manner of TKs at the ready to assist you!

  4. It's been a couple years now since I've stayed up until midnight (the kids have done us in!). Perhaps I'll attempt it next time, and maybe even try one of those timed movie starts that results in a climactic moment hitting right at midnight.

    Happy new year!

  5. General Amanda!

Another Georgian here, and like Jorge, from the Venator Squad. You’re in the right place for all things stormtrooper related, and such an iconic character is perfect for joining the Legion!

Do you have an idea of which specific stormtrooper you’re wanting to build? Below you’ll find a link to a resource page which may be of help to you. But don’t get overwhelmed with all the information; we’re all here to help you along on your journey!

Hello I’m starting my first build and I wanted to make sure this is still the current requirements for ANH Stunt Lvl 3. Thank you! Trying to figure out this forum haha

Hi Wil - It may have just been a typo, but it appears you were asking about L3, which would actually be our Centurion rank. If that's the case, then THIS LINK would be proper for you. If you meant to type, L2, then yes, this is the most up-to-date graphic.

  7. Hi Barry - I just combed through Frank's build thread, and in no place did he mention the manufacturer of his canvas belt. Perhaps it was provided by AM, or he may have purchased it from Trooperbay like a few other items. Either way, not knowing that specific vendor will not prevent you from submitted your EI application. You can just not list the canvas belt, leave the vendor name blank, or state "unknown." Hopefully the admins will get you TK status soon so you can submit for EI and then eventually Centurion!

  8. Hi Gari, and welcome back to the TK world! It's always a pleasure to meet a three-digit OG member. :salute:

You've made a great choice with AP and a Blaster Factory E-11, and it's awesome to see that you'll be building to L3 specs right from the beginning. Was your first kit an FX? Will be cool to see them side-by side once you've completed your build! Also I've never turned down photos of members with ESB Fett kits. Haha.

  9. Welcome to FISD, Nathan! You're certainly in the write place for general TK type armor assembly, despite you planning to build it as a Sandy. Just be sure to also check out the MEPD Detachment as they'll have all the specifics about building a backpack and such.

You've made a great choice with AM, and one of my personal favorite AM builds is that by AJ Hamler. HERE is the link. Colin (oddviking) also has a good build, which I link to, among other builds in my resource thread below. Just scroll down towards the bottom and you'll find several AM building threads, and even L2 and L3 submissions.

I'm sure I speak for others when I say that we look forward to fallowing along on your build! Check your inbox too, as I'm going to send you a PM.

I still haven’t quite finished this as I want to redo the brackets.
The TD is very simply bolted directly through the canvas portion of the belt.
I forgot to take photos of the inside before I glued it shut but it’s no great mystery how a nut & bolt work!
I went for just 2 screws as the other two really won’t be visible.
Easy to change my mind later if I want to be more accurate.

This is the post I was looking for. (if you know me)

If I may, what are the dimensions of that TD? And what diameter is the pipe? I’m in the process of ordering one from Walt to add to my TD collection/archive, and he hasn’t reported the actual size to me yet.

  11. Maker here from Rhode Island. I have 4 FDM and one resin 3D printer. I build freestyle drones, built about 40 so far in all different sizes. I was 12 when A New Hope came out in 1977, and I've been a fan ever since.

I've always wanted a Stormtrooper blaster (E-11 as I learned), and found the Blaster-Master files on MyMiniFactory. I'm close to halfway done printing/assembling, but I'm having a hard time finding an electronics kit that will work in it. I've seen a few, with parts and schematics, but they are pretty old. I'm not afraid of putting it all together myself if I had the parts. Can anyone point me in a direction to find electronics that'll work?

Welcome to the home of white armor and E-11s TRamp (Trooper Amp) is a pretty popular kit for blaster installs.

    https://facebook.com/trooperamp

trooper96 here on the forum has produced what are arguably the best E-11 files available, in case you ever want to give them a shot. He has several posts on the topic.
