I was just wondering if the First Order Stormtrooper costume they sell at Disneyland/Disneyworld is 501st approvable? I don't know a ton about the FO Stormtroopers, but they look really cool at the actual park and seem to have their own strapping system for the employees.

Well that sounds scary. I guess I'll just use mineral spirits then. I wasn't sure how people painted on the blue, grey and black parts on stormtroopers and thin the paint appropriately if they use the humbrol enamels RS Props mentions in one of their old videos.

Hey everyone. I'm trying to figure out the best paint thinner to use with Humbrol Enamels.... Are the Klean-strip brand VM&P Naphtha or Mineral Spirits both safe to put on raw ABS if mixed with an enamel paint? I don't really have a good scrap piece to work with, but was worried one of these would potentially eat up the ABS even if it had enamel paint mixed with it. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

I'm debating between grabbing a full ANH kit vs ESB kit from RS Prop Masters, but if I can't get a ANH Hero helmet then I'm going to go with ESB. I don't particularly like the big grey frown, but I really love the small frown ANH Hero. I'm not sure why, but it's just more of the classic Stormtrooper look to me.

I'm struggling to find a maker who makes the ANH Hero Helmet. I reached out to troopersupplies@hotmail.com and he is currently sold out. Are there any other makers of the ANH Hero helmet that are 501st approved? I don't want to do any mods myself. I want to just purchase the helmet finished so I can just put it on. I checked the getting started and vetted sellers stickies and I didn't see anyone else listed other than troopersupplies@hotmail.com.
